Apple pickin'.

We went on a weekend trip to north Georgia several weeks back. We spent part of a day at Hillcrest Orchards in Ellijay, and the kids had such a good time!

I'm really not squishing him!

Slide time!
IMG_2340

Wheee! I went down a few times, too.
IMG_2344

Elliot loved the giant jumping pillow thing!
IMG_2348

Sylvie couldn't manage to climb to the top, and the bigger kids jumping scared her so she stuck to bouncing on the edge with some help.
IMG_2356

And played in the sand!

Trike track! Sylvie was a bit too small, and didn't stay long.
IMG_2368

Elliot could have stayed all day! His pre-K has trikes like these and a track to ride on.
IMG_2370

We spent a whopping 5 minutes picking apples. There was just too much other fun stuff to do!

Pretty girls!! The wagon driver said they were half sisters born six days apart.

IMG_2390

Big pedal go-carts. I didn't get a good photo of him, but Elliot impressed me and made it around the track a couple times with only a little help! I took Sylvie around a couple times after Randy, and I was worn out afterwards!

IMG_2393

Sylvie LOVED the cloggers!
IMG_2396

Headed back to the cabin with a trunk full of apples (picked from the bins in the apple barn), fresh apple cider, and a bag of apple fritters, turnovers, and apple cider doughnuts!

Yum!

Boo.

I tried a Halloween Pinterest project with the kids. It's best not to try these things during that super whiny and argumentative pre-supper hour. It could have been much more enjoyable than it was. Lesson learned. Supposed to look like this, but Elliot wanted to draw the face instead, and Sylvie followed his lead.

Elliot's ghost complete with cheeks, piggy nose, eyelashes, glasses, beard, and belly button!
IMG_2721

Sylvie's ghost with multiple faces, some with eyes and legs. She pretty much lost interest when I broke out the streamers, and abandoned the project to run around the house trailing streamer paper behind her. I think she needs a ribbon wand in her stocking at Christmas!

Body art.

Don't take my picture!
IMG_2715

Okay, you can take my picture now!
IMG_2720

She claimed she was trying to color herself like Superman. I don't recall Superman having rainbow stripes.

Little Mikey Snuggles.

Aqua.

Freshly painted aqua stripes in Elliot and Sylvie's room.

Aqua dress that Sylvie picked out at Target.

Little girl clothes are so fun!

Lemon Drop, Nugget, and Meatball have finally started laying, so now some aqua eggs are making our egg gathering a bit more colorful!
